A moradia situa-se num terreno de dunas e pinhal em Tróia, no concelho de Grândola. Na península onde o oceano encontra a serra, a moradia nasce como uma extensão natural do território, inspirada pela teatralidade subtil do lugar. O projecto articula o terreno arenoso, os pinheiros bravos e o reflexo da vegetação na piscina, criando um verdadeiro anfiteatro natural. A casa desenvolve-se desde a rua até à piscina, culminando na vista da Serra da Arrábida, propondo um percurso onde o quotidiano se entrelaça com a contemplação.

O volume e os muros erguem-se em betão revestido com argamassa texturada na cor da areia, integrando-se na paisagem e reflectindo a luz com serenidade. A vegetação autóctone é preservada e reforça a ligação da casa ao território. No interior, revestimentos e caixilharia em alumínio cor champagne prolongam o “manto arenoso”, enquanto a madeira aquece e suaviza os espaços, criando continuidade entre pisos e conexão com o exterior.

A moradia organiza-se em dois pisos em torno de um eixo cénico, com pátios e varandas que permitem diálogo constante com a paisagem. No piso térreo, áreas sociais, suites e serviços fluem em relação à piscina, verdadeiro palco do projecto. No piso superior, a suite principal e outras áreas privadas mantêm contacto íntimo com o entorno. A cobertura plana integra discretamente painéis solares e entradas de luz zenital.

A piscina de transbordo actua como espelho da paisagem e ponto focal, prolongando o espaço social e convidando à contemplação. A moradia adopta soluções de eficiência energética e preservação ambiental, harmonizando-se com o ecossistema local.

Assim, a casa é uma extensão do território: um espaço onde o quotidiano encontra o extraordinário, e a arquitectura respira com a paisagem.

The house is located on a plot of dunes and pine forest in Tróia, within the municipality of Grândola. On the peninsula where the ocean meets the hills, the house emerges as a natural extension of the territory, inspired by the site’s subtle theatricality. The project articulates the sandy terrain, the maritime pines, and the reflection of the vegetation in the swimming pool, creating a true natural amphitheater. The house unfolds from the street to the pool, culminating in views of the Serra da Arrábida, proposing a journey where everyday life intertwines with contemplation.

The volume and walls rise in concrete coated with sand-colored textured render, integrating into the landscape and reflecting light with serenity. Native vegetation is preserved, reinforcing the connection between the house and its surroundings. Inside, finishes and champagne-colored aluminum frames extend the “sandy mantle,” while wood warms and softens the spaces, creating continuity between floors and a strong connection to the exterior.

The house is organized over two levels around a scenic axis, with courtyards and balconies allowing constant dialogue with the landscape. On the ground floor, social areas, suites, and service spaces flow in relation to the pool — the true stage of the project.
